Doug Dahl  aka The Arrowhead Guy gas been teaching knapping for 30 years. He prefers to teach "Abo", but is proficient in all knapping techniques. The term "Abo" as defined among knappers is used specifically to mean "no copper", which means using only organic percussors and flakers like wood, antler, bone, or hammerstones.

Every great instructor has their own mentors.  Doug has been a student under teachers such as Bob Patten, George Stewart, Jim Riggs, Larry Kinsella, Jim Spears, and Jim Redfern. He has taught at Rabbitstick, Wintercount, Falling Leaves, Rivercane, and Earthknack for over twenty years.
