You have to keep in mind that in a survival situation getting professional medical help may be impossible.  If you're headed into the wilderness or hanging out at home, you should know some basic first aid skills and should have a first aid kit with you or with your survival gear.  We carry small individual first aid kits to trauma kits, to large medical kits that you can keep in your vehicle or home.  Don't be caught without one!
