In this video I have built an alpine shelter with a different roof setup than my first video.  The roofs overlap so that a gap still remains for smoke to raise up out of but snow and rain cant easily fall through.

This is a long term, cold weather shelter that allows you to build a fire inside the shelter to keep warm in freezing temperature.  Though it isn't displayed in this video I will be digging out a Dakota Fire pit in this survival shelter, to heat it.
